Zonta Club of Northern Beaches
Building a better world for Women and Girls.
Be Part of a Global Movement Driving Gender Equality and Empowering Women.
Who we are
Since its founding in 1975 by Maggie Vaile, a local businesswoman, the Zonta Club of Northern Beaches has been committed to empowering women and girls. Originally chartered as the Zonta Club of Warringah with just 14 members, the club later changed its name in 2003 to reflect its broader impact. Over the years, the club has actively supported both local and global initiatives, from aiding the Northern Beaches Domestic Violence Network to distributing 58,000 birthing kits through the Birthing Kit Foundation.
Our Mission
At Zonta Northern Beaches, our mission is aligned with that of Zonta International: to improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health, and professional status of women through service and advocacy.
We strive for a world where no woman lives in fear of violence, and where gender equality is a reality.
Our Impact
